Sagittari vs. Rukaan Battle

Rukaan are mighty elks blessed by foreign deities.
Be careful, they have a dangerous set of antlers and strong kick!
Rukaan species are from Fields of Valhalla. 

Entry Rules

  • There must be one centaur and one Rukaan in the piece and they must appear to be fighting!

  • Entering Rukaan and centaur must be player characters (no group owned starters or NPCs, etc)

  • Entries do not have to be done by the owner

  • Entries can be collaborations

  • Entries can be submitted with one player owning both the centaur and the Rukaan

  • Entries can be set in any location

  • Rukaan riders are allowed but not required

  • Entry pieces must be fullbody, colored, shaded with complex background or 1000+ word story

Sagittari vs Rukaan Battle Mechanics

The Rukaan and the centaur are rolled a random number.
This random number range starts at 1 - 10 for each combatant. All bonuses increase the higher number of the range.
Whoever rolls the higher number is the winner of the match! Ties are rerolled.

Rukaan bonuses

  • 3 per rank (+3 for Thrall, +6 for Drang, etc)

  • 1 for chaffron (any)

  • 1 for crinet (any)

  • 1 for peytral (any)

  • 1 for crupper (any)

  • 1 for battle trait (any)

No rank with no armor or battle trait would be rolled 1 - 10
Marauder with no armor or battle trait would be rolled 1 - 25
Marauder with all armor and a battle trait would be rolled 1 - 30


Sagittari bonuses

  • 1 for commoner rank and 2 per additional rank (+3 for Lord, + 5 for Squire, etc)

  • 1 for armor (any)

  • 1 for helmet (any)

  • 1 for shield (any)

  • 1 for weapon (any)

  • 1 for battle trait (any)

Rankless with no equipment and no battle trait would be rolled 1 - 10
Emperor with no equipment and no battle trait would be rolled 1 - 25
Emperor with all bonuses would be rolled 1 - 30

Prizes

The winner of the battle is awarded a prize! The loser gets nothing.

How to Enter:

  • Submit the piece to the fields-of-valhalla 'Battle vs Other ARPG' gallery folder and the Isle-of-Sagittari 'BATTLE' gallery folder

  • Be sure to use the form below so the admins know it is an IoS x Rukaan battle!

  • Once the piece is rolled for rune marks by the Rukaan group, submit to the IoS x Rukaan battle thread below to have the piece rolled for prizes.

  • If the Rukaan wins the battle, their prize will automatically be added to the Rukaan owner's vault.

  • If the centaur wins the battle, the result comment will serve as proof of prize ownership which can be redeemed by the centaur's owner at the battle thread of the IoS Activities Hub.
